It has been 100 years since the death of the 6th Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto. After the Death of the greatest Hokage, The Akatsuki expanded beyond the River Country. Pein, Konan, Kisame, and Zetsu crushed all rebellion in the Land of Birds and took the entire area over. What these powerful ninja didn't know, was that it was a safe haven for Missing-Nin. The Missing Nin launched attack after attack and a Missing-Nin War began. The Akatsuki dominated the Missing-Nin Rebels in the beginning of the War but eventually The Rebels attacked The Akatsuki HQ and forced them to expand elsewhere. But that wasn't the end, The rebels chased the Akatsuki Forces all the way back to Rain Country where the other half of the Akatsuki were waiting. The war esclated and at this very moment, The Akatsuki and Rebels are still fighting. 12,000 lives have been lost.

The Great Shinobi Nations has been watching this War for the entire period of the war and they were spilt on who they wanted to win. Konoha, Taki, Kusa, Ame, Kiri wanted the Rebels to defeat the Akatsuki and end the threat of the World Missing-Nin Organization. Suna, Hoshi, Oto, Iwa, Kumo wanted the Akatsuki to win the war because the Nations thought they could destroy Akatsuki with ease.

Entire Villages became wrecked with tensions among clans. The Uchiha Clan and the Hyuga Clan even went as far as to acuse each other of betraying the Village. With Tensions High, Many Shinobi wonder if Konoha and the other Villages will ever be the same.
