((Lol don't ask about the name.))
The water-side village was enshrouded with the mischievous fog that masked most of the village. The place was a perfect spot to disappear, and a place where even the most ruthless of killers could be safe for a small amount of time. Though the cloaked figure that stood on the waters edge had no motives to come to the infamous Kirigakure, that didn't stop him from doing it. The figure was a fugitive to most nations, but it had been a years since his last identification. For all Yukigakure knew, he could be sitting under a hundred feet of snow, frozen solid. Jin did a great job of making his face unknown, making his identity forgotten, but with the uprising of actions, there was no doubt that it would rise again.
So, with numerous thoughts flooding his mind, he peered into the sea, though only the first few feet were visible before being lost in the field of white. The sole thought that the others revolved around were his actions that occurred many minutes before. Jin's blade was stained with the blood of a demon, a demon he felt responsible for elimination. And his skilled reflected the jobs outcome... pure success. The man lay dead, his house covered in blood, and the only thing with proof of his murder, was the blood that was washed away into a sink right after. The blood that lived on Jin's family blade, a blade in which he swore an oath to achieve great things with...
The killing was fairly simple. The man, a wealthy shop-owner that payed a price for smuggled goods. The goods however didn't go beyond just weapons... Secretly, hidden from even the government, he smuggled female captives for what he liked to call his own "ride." Jin had simply walked through the front door, and the man turned and tried his own against the cloaked figure. A fist was fired, yet missed horribly, and the fight continued like this for five minutes. The man began to throw projectiles, just trying to land one hit. However, each punch, each kick, each throw, he wasted energy and was feeling the after effects from fatigue. And after he was huffing and puffing, Jin, the hand of righteousness brought the blade straight across the torso. However, the fun didn't end there. The remaining corpse was nearly impossible to depict, with missing limbs, scarred tissue, and a natural blood bath....
And now, minutes later, Jin hoped to wash away the sins in the sea that diluted the vast amount of blood that was spilled prior to his coming. Kirigakure was a vicious village, and in past times, students were required to kill one another for graduation. He could only guess that dead bodies infested the waters he stood above, and though it was a sickening thought, it reassured Jin that he wasn't the only monster in this world...

Reis yawned, as he walked sleepily through the town to the coast that he had loved to just sit by, and on the occasion go bear fishing. Reis let off a series of grunts, as his eyes slit open so very slightly it was sheer luck that he walked this way all the time making him able to do it without even using his eyes, as he looked to one side then another Reis let out a sigh "Why is there always no one out... or is it just me?" Reis questioned.
Truth was the village had not been a big fan of him well since he graduated the academy, and killed the previous teacher, well granted the teacher had willingly given his life to Reis for withholding what he had from him. They also had not liked him since he seemingly was unchanged in his lazy ways and usual disrespectful ways even though he had been promoted to such a prestigious rank.
"Stupid village... nothing to do... no one interesting... Why don't you try being more responsible? Or doing something more with yourself?" Reis said the last part was more so meant to be mocking what some of the Jounin had been telling him. Sighing, as he sat by where some stranger was (Jin) Reis payed no mind to him instead he continued on his rant "Maybe if you guys gave me something interesting to do!..... Oh or maybe I am doing something with myself!... Bastards...." Reis said before closing his eyes again.

The more and more he thought about the murder he just committed, the more and more he liked it. It was somehow enjoyable cutting that man down in the name of justice. Being a rogue ninja, he had to abide to no laws, and was able to work completely without being stopped by some sort of prison threat. In addition, his strength had made him pretty much immune to most attempts at capture, even though most attempts never came. He was simply known as the "Cloaked Killer" and without the cloak he was practically invisible. And when he wanted to escape being captured, or any attempts, the cloak would easily be stashed inside his bag.
Through the silence footsteps became audible, and same with ranting. It seemed as if someone was arguing with another, but as the sound came closer, he heard the footsteps of only one person and the voice of only one man. He was probably just talking to himself, and though Jin often didn't pay attention to others, the silence with the only voice echoing being his, made it extremely difficult. Jin assumed that the man would just walk by, but the voice kept getting closer, and savoring his last kill started to get more difficult. Peering slyly out the dark robe, his face was completely invisible, making it easy to stare at someone without spooking them. The man sat down, and from the looks, he seemed familiar. Not to Jin personally, but like someone he had heard of...
The man was arguing with himself, or reminiscing, either way it sounded like a conjunction of both. Jin let it go on for awhile, but curiosity kept poking at him, and it started to get much more frequent too. Finally, Jin couldn't help but speak. Coughing to give the signal that he was going to talk, he asked in an intelligent and emotionless tone, "I'm sorry sir, but... is something wrong?" Most times Jin didn't involve himself with others astray from his common goal. But being alone in this ominous mist-infested village, especially with no one but the man in site, it was almost only natural that he responded to the voices.

Reis's ranting had stopped when the caugh cut it off before it could start, and then a voice came out "I am sorry sir, but..." *But? What the Hell is it now... But?* "Is something wrong?" Reis grunted, as he rolled onto his back. Looking up to the sky though there was none through the thick mist Reis grunted "Who wants to know? You aren't someone I have seen around here.... though I dun really ever see no one here... well aside from my fellow swordsmen..." Reis paused as he began to pick at his teeth with his right hands pointer finger.
Rolling his eyes, as he sat back up he looked at the man through the fog, and his robes he couldn't see much of him "And I know your not one of them cuz well you don't fit the profile..." Reis said his gaze now looking glazed over as it had always looked when he was in the village most likely from the overwhelming boredom that it gave him.
Turning away from the man he looked down into the water *Maybe if I show more initiative Kitso will come around more often to hang out... though I haven't gotten to see the others really yet, but they all seem so... I don't know really....* Reis thought his tongue clicking on the roof of his mouth as he thought of just who he was to be working with from now on.

The man whom Jin just spoke to seemed a tad irritated around Jin's question. The somewhat curious sounding, "Who wants to know? You aren't someone I have seen around here.... though I dun really ever see no one here... well aside from my fellow swordsmen..." told Jin that this man maybe didn't want to be bothered. However, at the same time, Jin was pretty sure he didn't want to be left alone either. The human mind was a confusing thing, probably the only thing that was 100% unpredictable. No matter how much you studied it, one's brain could easily pull something off that one hadn't assumed...
Deciding to remain calm and think before acting, he took a moment before speaking. "A homeless wanderer, if that isn't too insulting. I've seen your face before, famous I'm assuming. Don't know if someone such as yourself would like me, a lowlife, worrying about you." Jin looked carefully at the man. He awaited to see the response, to see what kind of man this was. Corruption was in every soul, and his job was to eliminate the ones beyond help. This man didn't seem to bad, but looks always have been deceiving. Like him, no one could guess that under the robe he wore was enough power to freeze the village in a coat of one inch thick ice... Well it was an estimate, but Jin was pretty sure he could do it before running out of energy.

Reis looked over to the man who claimed to be homeless, but first he had to handle the famous comment "Seen my face? Me famous..... Maybe my father... I looked very much like him, but I highly doubt it was me I am not much of a man of fame outside the village, and even here it would be more so infamous..." Reis said slowly rubbing the back of his head clearly confused. Clearing his voice "Okay I got it since you are homeless you must be looking for a place to stay... so why not if you tell me when and where wether it have been on a poster have seen my face... and please I know you know what I mean I am just not so great at grammar...." Reis said clearly knowing he was not grammatically correct, but then it clicked to him "Homeless people need shelter... so I will let you stay at my place if you tell me... I got an extra room..." Reis said.
The idea of another person being in his house was funny to him since the last one had been his academy teacher all those years ago "So would you like to indulge me sir?" Reis asked clearly ammused at this point.

The man started questioning on how Jin had heard of the man. It was only natural that a person would. It was almost human instinct for someone to want to know what someone is saying about them, and if it is good or bad. Despite Jin's highly matured personality, even he couldn't resist anything that had to do with them. Maybe if it was on a small scale, but stuff that belonged to the bigger and more juicy gossip was irresistible. So, the cloaked figure couldn't show any sign of pity towards the questions, as he would probably do the same. Not in the exact same way, but with the same intent in mind.
"Okay I got it since you are homeless you must be looking for a place to stay... so why not if you tell me when and where wether it have been on a poster have seen my face... and please I know you know what I mean I am just not so great at grammar...." The man said. It was odd, he wanted to pay him a room to stay in to find out what he had heard. Honestly, Jin found the situation quite amusing, and he didn't try to hide it either. A small chuckle was audible under the shroud of darkness that masked most features of his face.
Shaking his head, Jin found the words in him to answer the man's question and deny the room, "As much as I would like to settle down now, I can't. The only way I seem to stay sane is by wandering and learning the cultures and lifestyles of others. Maybe one day though... And where I heard of you... hm...-" The navy-haired missing-nin thought for a moment. "Well, I like to read, and study. But I'm pretty sure it was just a new newspaper issue that had a college of characters, and your face just happened to appear with them. Something with a sword..." Jin was on the edge of remembering completely what he had read, but like most times when you put too much thought it trying to remember, you just get more frustrated and ultimately forget... and Jin did just that... "My apologies, I just can't remember completely..." His voice was calm, and thet sounds hung like the cloud of mist that haunted the seas and streets of Kirigakure.

Reis sighed, as he shrugged on the inside he couldn't lie it had angered him that he couldn't remember exactly where he had seen him, but any information was good, and he couldn't blame him since he had tried. He layed back the cold stone felt nice on his bareback, and his eyes closed slowly, as he thought back to previous statements "Well homeless man you never gave me a name, and I can't help but feel bad since you even put yourself down... however I must ask since curiosity gets me just where did you come from, and what would your real name be?" Reis said his voice was rough sounding, as it usually was when he became relaxed.
Reis began to click his tongue on the top of his mouth as he began to think "Soo... stranger als would you like to explain why I smell blood in the air? or had you not noticed it?" Reis asked, as his nose twitched taking in the aroma in the air. Reis's brow furrowed even though his eyes where closed "Yeah it is fresh... hmmm eh.. if you don't know I am sure ANBU will get to the bottom of whatever it is if it was a murder... not my job." Reis said with a light scoffing laugh.

Jin gave an apologetic nod. Introducing one's self was a customary sign of respect, and he completely forgot to. Thinking deeply, but rather swift at the same time to avoid suspicion, he felt it best just to say his first name. Giving Jin, and not Jin Hwang, would escape any possibility of his village finding out he went rogue. Mentioning the sir-name Hwang didn't spark interest into anyone but Yukigakure people, or weapon lovers. The would automatically assume heritage from the infamous Hwang blacksmiths, and Jin was supposedly dead, so for anyone to discover he was alive... would make work much more difficult. "Oh, yes. My name is Jin. And yours? Maybe the name might help ring a bell too?"
As the man lay against the cold stone, Jin peered off into the distance of the sea. He was still attentive to the neighboring person that lay beside him, though his visual interests focused more on the ominous mist. Then, the man made a discovery that would normally make someone nervous, yet Jin was sure of the fact that he eliminated all evidence, that he didn't worry about it. Giving a sniff in the air, the smell was definitely there. "Hm, if I said I killed a person, would that make a good joke? If not then I'm not going to try an be funny." A moment passed and he smirked a bit, "Never mind, making a laughing matter over death isn't humane. So no, I have no idea, and this ANBU... Is he some sort of detective?"
Despite completely lying, his voice seemed a bit innocent, though, if his eyes were visible, one would see the deception in them. The way they seemed to grin in triumph, and the way his brows arched deeper, to the point where mischief was obviously a key part in them. Despite the death in the village, this new acquaintance seemed careless about the death, and maybe before Jin leaves, he could confess to the murder. It would definitely make it easier on the fact that he just took a life. In addition, it may help his reputation. Maybe give these mysterious murders on crime-lords or corrupted souls hint. Give a new name for the murderer... Jin the phantom... Well, not that lame, but something he could be known for. It's not like he is doing anything of criminal acts... well he was, but the people obviously showed their appreciation, so at least in their eyes he wasn't evil...

Reis let listened to this man and couldn't help but get a weird vibe from him, and he began to think, as he stared hard into the fog trying to pierce it with his eyes some would say, but as he did his mind wandered. Thinking of why this man named Jin would joke about killing someone it wasn't that rare an occurance in the world of ninja, but this man didn't seem like any ninja Reis had met, and Reis was only growing more confused as the moments passed. The smell of the blood was lingering, and Reis couldn't pin point from where exactly it was all the moisture in the air as well as the simple fact that he was only familiar to the smell not really a tracking dog where he can follow the scent.
Reis rubbed his head comming out of his thinking "I am Reis Kaeinome... so sir... would one be correct in assuming you are not a ninja due to beign a homeless wanderer? Also where did you come from you seem foreign to these lands..." Reis said his voice was assertive and almost demanding. He slowly sat up, turning his head to face Jin once more his eyes narrowed, as he looked at him Reis was usually like this with new people which is one of the reasons many people didnt like him. Reis just didn't like things to be hidden from him, and he was quick to snap on the questions, as his eyes tried piercing through whoever was receiving the questions.
Reis then cleared his throat, as his eyes narrowed onto the man more so, his right hand nonchalantly reaching up, and resting on his left shoulder millimeters away from the hilt of Daifu. Reis sighed though his face was stern the voice that escaped was one of sympathy "I am sorry to have to question you, but I must say I do not handle well with information being withheld from me so if you can be completely honest it would be much appreciated."
Jin noticed the suspicious behavior by the now introduces Reis. The name was familiar, same with the face... and the sword had something to do with the whole equation too... If this was a year ago, when he was interested in learning about most of the great shinobi, he could probably pin-point who the man was, but a year of learning of deception, and filling your mind with information that was fake and finding out it was fake year later, it kind of took a toll on him. His thoughts were interrupted by the request to know where he came from, and the whole truth...
Jin sat there, gazing in the distance, having an argument in his head about whether to tell the truth or not. If he did, the man wouldn't have any proof anyways, seeing as his identity was completely sealed behind the cloak. The citizens would probably just find bringing up a topic about the dead prodigy of their village was cruel humor, and the Yukikage would result in banishment options. There wasn't anything wrong with telling him, so... to avoid any conflict and further pressure on the matter, he went with the truth.
"Well, I wouldn't say I'm not a ninja. I'm a former Jounin, Yukigakure. So I guess... I would be considered a missing-nin." Jin's dark cloak turned towards Reis, and the the light made the bottom portion of his face visible (the mouth and nose). With a slight grin, he turned back towards the sea, and continued ruminating on the topic of Reis. It pained him to be that close to remembering who he was, but not being able to. Almost to the point where he wanted to slam something against his head, just to escape the irritation. That's what his heart was saying anyways. It was a useful thing to have great control over emotions, no irrational or remorseful moves were usunally ever made...

Reis sighed, as he let his right hand slid from his shoulder away from the hilt of his sword, and down his chest slowly until it rested on his thigh "You know I was kind of hoping you would have been more interesting, and had given me a reason to actually wake up today." He said his voice rasping. Reis looked at the bottom half of this man Jin's face being that it was lit up studying it but there was not enough since he couldnt see his eyes to see if he was lieing.
Reis slowly pusjhed himself from the stone coast his back and joints cracking and popping, as he then pulled his right hand to his mouth and leaned back yawning "You know I think about it, and there where no boats vomming from Yukigakure this morning... How did you get here?" Reis asked confused not only by the fact of how he got here, but also by the fact he was able to even pick up on that lack of detail.
