Name: Kally Sinda
Gender: Female
Birthday: October 13
Age: 27
Blood Type: AB-
Village: Konohagakure no Sato
Country: Hi no Kuni
Personality:
Kally's personality, over the years, has changed very greatly. As a child, Kally was abused by her parents and neglected, cared for only by her brother. She never had the luxury of a loving family in the first few years of her life, which had very much affected her perception of family and of older people in general, since the only person who cared for her was her brother. After her father murdered her brother, she lost herself and ran, unsure of everything that was going on, which led to the first true change in her personality.
After she was adopted by the family in Konoha, she didn't get along well with her brothers or parents. She also had been suffering from shock, which had a serious affect on her. She had a difficult time relating to her new father because of her old father's abuse and attempted murder of her. After a while she eventually started reaching out to her family members as the shock wore off. She asked her parents more and more for help, but she had problems relating to her new brothers because of what had happened to her older brother.
When she became a Genin, everything seemed to change. She perked up and became much more peppy than her older self was. She enjoyed being on her team with Kin and Garen, she loved doing the missions and she love working. However, it was during this time that the village began to turn on her though she didn't notice it. She formed her first close bond other than her older brother when she was a child. Her spirits were really boosted when she became a Chuunin, the only from her village to do so.
After she became a Chuunin, Kally decided to teach at the academy and brought her own unique teaching style there, and noticed that the village didn't like her. The Hokage, however, had back her on everything she had done and she made it through. After she transfered out of the academy and to missions, it was strongly reiterated to her how much the village disliked her by how she was forced to be watched after to ensure she did nothing.
During the Jounin exams, she did what she did and finally realized that she could get the villagers to warm up to her as she had the other members of the exam save her though they could have left her because she was captured. She began to teach the Genin and this helped her out alot that she was doing good for the village. The parents began to see that she was good and tried to spread that word, which perked her spirits up so much more. During this time, she was all about protecting the village and those inside, not matter what they thought of her.
After she was chosen for Hokage, she began to realize that her actions had a huge impast on how others view her. She hasn't changed much, she'd still be more than willing to give her life for the sake of the villagers; They were her priority.

History:
--- Young Life ---
Kally was born on Friday the thirteenth, the most unlucky and superstitious day of the year. Because of this, she was almost abandoned by her superstitious mother and her non-caring father. It is not known exactly where she was born because of certain events that transpired during her younger years. For most of her young life, she was cared for by her older brother who was the only one who had really cared for her during this time of her life. Her brother was the most loving member of her family, twelve years old at the time. He fed her and cleaned her up while she was an infant, taking on responsibilities usually meant for people much higher in age than he. Because there was this bond growing bond between the two of them, Kally's mother began to despise her son as well.
In the first year of her life, before her mother had just given all responsibility to her brother, Kally's life had several attempts taken on it. Each and every time something would happen to alert someone else as to what was happening and she was saved. Her father, though he didn't care, wanted to shut his wife up and took the baby out of the village, abandoning it in the woods. Kally could do nothing, but her older brother had pursued him and took her back, keeping her hidden for a while.
After this Kally was watched after day and night, kept safe by her older brother. After she learned to walk, Kally began to get herself into trouble with her parents. She kept bothering them all the time, having to be retrieved by her brother, who had decided to not become a ninja to raise her, cause their parents wouldn't. For two years Kally got into trouble and threw fits, trying her brother's patience. After she got through that phase of her life, Kally calmed down a bit.
For the next few years of her young life everything was calm, but she was still hated by her mother and father because of her birthday; they called her bad luck, the black sheep of the family. They were unjust in their statements, targeting her for every single thing that went wrong, no matter how big or small, no matter how obviously it was the fault of something else.
Not long before she was to attend the academy, her father grew angry at her brother and killed him in an argument. Kally was shocked and ran, leaving the village in the night. She ran for days, succumbing to hunger within a week. She didn't have any water either so she sat by a tree and cried, unable to stop herself. By her luck a troop of ninja from a different village were heading back to their village from hers and found her lying alone in the forest and took her with them after feeding her and giving her plenty of water. In time she recovered from her malnourished and dehydrated state, from which she nearly died, and was adopted by a family in her new village. Kally told them her age and everything she knew how to say, for she had only just learned.
Taking it upon themselves to fill in the blanks in her learning, which had been stunted by seeing her brothers death, she was forced to enter the academy one year later than the other kids her age.
--- Academy Life ---
In the academy Kally at first struggled with her studies. She was always so used to having her brother helping her with everything, but now she had a new family, two new siblings who were a little older than her, but didn't like her much. Her new mother and father cared deeply for her, but because of her own mother and father, Kally hadn't been able to bond with these new family members. She never asked them for help and failed many assignments and tests. This only made her try harder and harder, eventually getting things on her own.
However, there came a time in the academy that she had to learn how to throw kunai when she had to ask others for help. Kally didn't know how to do it and asked, awkwardly, her new father how to do it and to help her. He accepted quickly and taught her everything he knew, which wasn't a whole lot. Within a few weeks she was able to match him throw-for-throw, learning at an amazing speed. Her new father was confused by this growth, but went along with it, taking it as a sign that she had finally warmed up to the family. She now would actually talk with them on a daily basis and didn't stay in her room.
Kally grew very quickly during this time, maturing mentally before all of her class mates. Her new father helped her with the Ninjutsu that she'd need for the tests, which she then passed with ease, but made mediocre marks on the knowledge tests. Though she wasn't the best of the students, Kally graduated and was placed onto a Genin team. ON her team were two kids from her very same class. The first of the two was a boy name Kin. Kin was one of the highest scoring kids in the class but was very modest, not showing it. The second was a girl named Garen. She was a introverted girl who hadn't said a single word throughout the entire academy unless she was called upon by the teacher; she only spoke silently then, barely audible.
--- Genin Life ---
After she became a Genin, Kally's chakra stores and Jutsu proficiency soared to new heights. On the team with Kin and Garen she trained every day with them; Whenever they weren't on missions, that is. So many times they were out well into the night training with each other, learning from one another just as much learning from themselves. The team, rumored to be one of the best Genin teams in the village, took on a great many missions and were unrivaled in teamwork. Even Garen, who kept to herself, had come out of her shell and began to talk to people more and more often, trusting her squad.
Over the weeks and months that she was a Genin, her skill increased by leaps and bounds and Kally discovered that she could use many different Ninjutsu more proficiently. She was able to use, well, Water, Earth, and Wind techniques with very little difficulty, but couldn't perform Fire well, nearly burning herself several times. The missions that the team took were all boring missions that took place within the village itself and in the surrounding lands, nothing like the missions that the Chuunin and Jounin go on. Kin, the only male member of the team, complained enough to the point that they wrangled up an escort mission, which went off without a hitch.
Kin continued to complain, eventually getting Garen to complain with him. The complaints from the two aggravated the sensei into telling them about the Chuunin Selection Exams. Kin, who was quite gung-ho about the whole thing, managed to talk Kally into it, along with Garen. The three brought it up to their sensei and were entered into the Chuunin exams. Kally was thirteen by this time and knew that she would be up against ninja that could be up to, or above, twenty years old, and it bothered her. She was nervous but it was Garen that reassured her, told her that she'd do fine. Garen had helped Kally out a lot since joining the team, and Kally had helped Garen to come out of her shell.
The team joined the Chuunin exams expected to come in last and fail like many other rookies before them. The first exam was as tradition dictated, as the proctor said, a written exam. Kally didn't exactly know what the purpose of the exam was, so she didn't cheat. She tried her hand at all the problems, but was certain she had failed. At the end, when the proctor asked if anyone wanted to leave and have their whole team disqualified, she nearly stood, but Kin caught her eye. Kin seemed to have had a grasp of what was going on and motioned for her to stay seated. Several ninja got up and walked out, and others followed. In the end, less than half of the group remained and were given to the next proctor.
For the next challenge they were supposed to go through this forest and grab a scroll from an opposing group, every group had one scroll. This was to decrease the total number of groups by a half. During the test Kally's group was attack three times. The first time, Kally was attacked directly because of her frail look. After she pulled out a few of her techniques, which had all been made by her, the opponents were all defeated. The second time they were attacked, the group of three ninja, from the sand, tried to separate them, getting them all in Genjutsu, but Garen was on top of it all. She dispelled the technique and Kally and Kin defeated the opponents. It was the second team that attacked them that had the proper scroll that they needed.
The third time they were attacked was the near end for them. Kally was seperated by the strongest of them, who had been falling them, and started a large fight. the other two fought against Kin and Garen, who had the scrolls. The fight between Kally and her strong foe started with only thirty minutes left before they needed to get to the center. Kally was nearly defeated by the fire ninja from the wind village. The ninja himself was there with one of his closest friends and a ninja he couldn't agree with; he had known much strife in his life, but none like Kally had felt in her youth. After the long battle, Kally and the man found that they were evenly matched. In agreeance, they decided to part ways as friends, the opponent introducing himself as Skurm.
The two Kin and Garen were fighting had matched them as well and, with no clear winner in sight, met up with Skurm and looked for another team to dominate. Puzzled with what had happened, Kin and Garen simply went along with Kally and made it to the middle just in time. In the third exam, which completed fully the day after the forest ended, the ten remaining ninja faced off in a tournament. The fights went quickly as they hadn't full time to recover and Kally found herself in the final match with Skurm, the boy she had fought with in the forest. The fight went on for a great while as several techniques were thrown back and forth. In the end it came down to Taijutsu as both ninja pushed each other to the very limits.
In the very end, Kally lost by surrender, unable to compete or keep up with Skurm's superior swordsmanship with her kunai. Almost a full week later Kally found out that she was selected from the exams to proceed to Chuunin rank for knowing when she was beaten and not pushing herself until she would be killed by a foe. She later found out that the list of those that were promoted was limited to Skurm and his crew, her, and a few other ninja from various villages. Right away she was treated by her team for becoming a Chuunin, taken to a fine restaurant. She was given a choice of what she wanted to do, a list of various things, and Kally decided to stay in the village and stay at the Academy, helping to mold the futures of the students.
--- Chuunin Life ---
As a Chuunin and teacher at the academy, Kally couldn't stay with her old teammates like they had wanted her to. She enjoyed teacher her classes at the academy and was here for several years, seeing many students graduate and become Genin, remembering how she felt when she had become a Genin. It had been the greatest days she could remember, she was finally a ninja, could finally stick up for what she felt right; her ninja way. Her mind continuously flicked back to these days during the final days of her first class.
After a few years, several complaints began to mount from parents in the village. They said that she shouldn't be a teacher because she couldn't be trusted, she was from another village can could be a spy. As a result, the council nearly ejected her from the academy. The only person who had defended her was the Hokage, who had gotten to know her well over her time in the village. Many times she had gone to talk to him directly about the events that had happened when she was found, he was one of the ANBU on the squad that had brought her back at the time.
He trusted her, just as her adopted parents did, and consoled her whenever needed. He visited her class one day to observe all of the students working as well as her lessons, to ensure that her lessons were not potentially biased against konoha. The Hokage was surprised, as he walked into the classroom, to see that all the students were broken into groups and talking amongst eachother. When he questioned Kally about it, she told him that she had distributed the lessons to group leaders who then worked on it with the group while she wandered around helping out single groups at a time. This allowed her to help each student more than being in front of the class lecturing.
The Hokage took note of this, then proceeded to check over her past lesson plans. After a short time, he had seen enough to show him that the villagers worries were unneeded, Kally was doing a great job. As he left, Kally rushed out into the hall after him and requested to be removed from the school after the next graduation so that she may do missions to help the village. They talked for a short time and came to a decision that she would, but she had to be watched; the villagers would agree with it more. After the class had graduated, Kally had gone back out and did missions for the village, but on the missions in which she worked with others, they didn't seem very fond of her.
Even Kin and Garen didn't trust her like they had before. However, Kally completed every mission regardless of what her team thought, always succeeding. After another year of this, the Hokage approached her about the Jounin exam. He said that she was more capable of it than mos ninja in the village and cared more about the village than all of them, no matter what anyone said. Reluctantly, for she wanted to prove to the village that she wasn't what they thought she was, she accepted the offer to join in the exams. The proctor for the exams would be the Hokage, he was going to specifically pick the Jounin from the exams.
The first exam was simple, just a simulation of a team mission. They were to get in and out of a village without being noticed, but because of one of the other ninja in the exam, they were caught and forced to fight. Kally managed to draw all the foes, who were simply ninja that had volunteered from the leaf village, to herself and allow the others to get in. There were seven ninja that were on guard that she was now forced to fight and she held them off, but ran out of chakra. She was thrown to the ground and the ninja closed in. To her surprise, before she was attacked, the other ninja had returned and saved her, launching a sneak attack on the foes, grabbing Kally and leaping off.
The mission was a near failure, but they had all finished the exam alive. The ninja that Kally had teamed up with had learned their lesson that day for not trusting their teammate who had allowed them to enter the village and saved the mission. The next exam was nothing more than a written test that was simple to all of them, but separated out the way they think, eliminating a few of them there. The last exam pitted them against each other in a tournament, forcing them to fight and show their true nature. Kally fought honorably and defeated her foe, but never showed off.
The Hokage called on her not long after and awarded her the rank of Jounin. He told her that the village likely wouldn't accepted her as what she was, but she had to deal with that. She would gain the villages trust in time, Kally knew that; she just had to wait.
--- Jouinin Life ---
After Kally had become a Jounin, she was tasked with watching after a few Genin. This was not a task that she chose, instead forced on her by the Hokage. He claimed that it would help her gain a better reputation with villagers. This couldn't be farther from the truth. The villagers didn't trust her still and were now quite untrusting of her Genin as well. They thought that she, like so many Jounin had before, was going to steal away these young students whose minds could so easily be twisted. Kally, however, ignored the taunts and jeers from the people of the village and taught the Genin as she saw fit, allowing them, mainly, to draw their strength from teamwork; she strongly emphasized the value of the team.
Another value that Kally persisted in teaching the young ones was the importance of family. These Genin had their family to egg them on, and she had her adopted family. The Genin were training well and making good progress, but they didn't seem to get along well at all. To force them to get along and learn to work together, Kally devised a special training session to be held inside the forest of death. In this session, Kally was to get separated from the group and the get in a disguise whereupon she would attack the group as a rogue ninja. She wouldn't go all out on the young ninja, but she would make it only possible for them to triumph if they worked together.
The parents of the young Genin did not approve of the training because of the sensei, mainly because she was quite young compared to the other jounin, being only eighteen, and they still believed her to be a spy. The young students, however, decided to go against their parents and go to the training anyway. They were instructed to bring food enough for three days and bandages. All they were told about the training was that they were going to be doing some intense training in the forest of death.
After all three students arrived there, they set off into the forest. Kally conveniently separated from the group, after giving warning that something could go wrong, three hours after they entered. While she was away she changed into a disguise that weighed fifty pounds, helping to slow her down so that she wouldn't be able to accidentally hurt one of the children. The disguise was large and bulky and had a very blunt sword. None of the Genin were proficient in Genjutsu, so she wouldn't have to worry about that, but two of them like to use Taijutsu, so she'd have to be wary. The other was a fire user and could easily set her aflame if she paid no attention.
She waited an hour, constantly watching them before she struck, seeing how they'd cope without her. To her surprise, they didn't do badly and remained vigilant, nearly spotting her twice. As night neared, they settled down and Kally decided that it was time to launch her attack. She lunged forward from the bushes and launched her attack, but she had already been spotted. The oldest member was the more proficient taijutsu user and had already been on her. Immediately after he launched, the other taijutsu took off after him, getting in his way. They two stopped to argue and Kally came at them with the sword, but the fire user stepped in the way using goukakyou, forcing her to back down. She then yelled back at them trying to get them to settle their dispute. She never let her eyes off of Kally.
The bout lasted long into the night and finished when Kally took off into the trees, vanishing from the kids' sight. She kept a close watch on them, finding them arguing for most of the day, not getting any sleep as they watched out the night before. The fire user that had protected the other two last night said nothing until they started in on her, and she finished it. She could be heard yelling, which was bad, throughout the forest. Then they settled down. The kids discussed amongst themselves the battle routine should their attack return. Kally knew that they'd win this time and decided to let them finish before she attacked again. Several hours later she was certain that they were ready, so she used it to attack.
Kally had gotten no sleep and was reacting a bit sluggishly with all of her movements, which gave them a larger advantage. She attacked as it got dark and was immediately taken off guard. Both of the Taijutsu users were on her and as she tried to escape them, the fire user burned her escape route. She was forced to stay and fight. The body she was wearing wasn't light, but had a strong defense against the taijutsu users. She charged in a swung her blade at them, but they were gone. As she looked around, the eldest came from no where and landed an attack to her chest, sending her flying into a tree. Kally hit the tree hard then vanished off into a puff of smoke. The kids were confused, but remained vigilant.
Kally removed the disguise and returned to them, telling them that she was proud and showing them the disguise. The genin didn't take it well in the beginning but eventually warmed up to it, they had learned to work together and that would hold the group together. They left the forest and returned to their parents, telling them what had happened. In a group, the parents of the young Genin all approached Kally at one time, expressing the fact that they knew what had happened and that they were sorry for doubting her. They told her that they'd spread the word around that she wasn't harmful and try to help clear her name. Kally, who was overcome with surprise, told them that it wasn't necessary, that she didn't train the students to try and get good with the village, but to help defend the families within the walls.
That group passed by quickly as they took the chuunin exams the first time around and all passed, thanks to their teamwork and the jutsu Kally had taught them. Over the years, Kally had several more genin teams, most of which completed the Chuunin exams. After a while, she was contacted by the eldest taijutsu user from her first group, who was now an ANBU Team Leader. He was sixteen now and had become much more powerful, but claimed to owe it all to her training and methods. A few months after that, the Hokage announced that he was stepping down, which made the entire village feel said. It was only when he named his successor that the village showed a reaction. He had announced Kally as his successor to the Hokage and pleaded with her to take the position. After a long talk, she took it after he kept reiterating the fact that she would be guarding and ensuring the safety of the entire village.
When she took her seat, she was greeted with mixed emotions from the crowds.
--- Kage/Village Leader Life ---
Not all of the villagers agreed with her much; the strongest support she had gotten was from her adopted parents, who were quite proud of her, and the parents of the Genin that she had watched over. She had just turned twenty-seven and was stronger than she had ever been, just creating new techniques. Kally, though she be a Kage now, continued to go out and train as often as she could, though she still had to assign missions and handle various dealings of the village.
