Influence: A bit in Kumo, thought behind the scenes, because nobody trusts them really.
History:
The shindue-bu clan was founded 700 years ago, as an illness befalled people in Kumogakure. Their eyes turned white and they were saying that they felt as if their head was burning from the inside. Some even died from that. They had severe burns from the inside of their head. After this was found out, many priests and what was called doctors tried to research, where it was steming from. In the first few years, it was believed it was a showing of evil that will follow and the people who had this illness were either banned or killed.
After some time, the ones ill that hadn´t died, came up with solutions to better their situation. They developed medicines and the ninja under them techniques that helped the ill people at least a bit. It was helping lindering the pain and some even were rescued by the techniques developed. But even though, the ninja didn´t really understood what they were doing, they had felt that their chakra had changed as they became ill. One ninja then came up with a reason for all this. He had before had power over the Katon, but suddenly he felt that he had gained something.
It was that he had gained the Raiton element and what he didn´t know, was that he had gained it that much, that his body was burned and his eyes had been scarred from the inside, slowly burning the liquid that is needed to see. So he also realized, that he felt things before he touched them, so he also came up with the explaination, that he was giving off little impulses that were resonating to matters around him. As he knew that, he wandered around and taught himself to differentiate between the different matters.
As he returned to the family´s, he was living with now, who had all had this illness, he told them all this. They were happy as he gave them hope. So he began teaching them all he had found out. They slowly noticed that even people, who hadn´t had teh abilities of a ninja, learned how to use this. And even though, it was difficult and the learn process was only slow, taking some years, at least, they could "see" again. So they slowly, without noticing formed a clan, consisting of people, who were extreme raiton user, so that all other elements were burned out.
After some time, they established a clan house in Kumogakure, but they were even now, not very welcomed. And with their ability to see, though they couldn´t see, they were even more creepier and weird. But they made their way and became a normal clan slowly and with little steps, always welcoming people with the same illness as them. So they grew and grew, until recently as the clan and the head house in Kumogakure was nearly taken out. They had been attacked by another clan as they all had slept and were totally overwhelmed by the pure count of teh attackers. The old were left alive and the ones too young to fight, all others were killed or selled to slave markets.
After that, years of slavery started. But slowly one child was raised, that showed even more power and ability as the clan already had, ending in this little boys eyes burned to ash as he first activated his power for real. That was on the day, they wanted to kill his teacher for teaching him techniques. As the head of the elder fall, the kid´s eyes began to glow brightly. That was before suddenly everyhwere was electric released that charred the room and started a fire, Lithian, the young boys name, then started to walk through the main house, were he had been prisoned since the attack and began killing all members of the other clan with ease.
At the end, Lithian freed all of his clan members and killed all of the attacking clan members. Then he began slowly rebuilding the clan slowly and with little steps as his forefathers. Now, the clan was even seen as an accepted clan by the raikage.

All who have this are born blind, because the overwhelming raiton in their body destroys their eyesfluids and then take over their body emitting small waves. Owner of the kenseiboushi have white eyes, which have no function anymore. For that they gain the ability to give off little pulses of raitons. While doing so they can notice when there´s something in the way of the electric particle.
They can´t see any colors, but for that they can "see" all other things, since the particle aren´t held by anything and they response different to different matters, they can say if it´s bones flesh or fire. They can even look through people to their backs and behind all. This needs harsh training and knowledge how the different matters response to the particle. So the owners of the kenseiboushi have not only study for school, but also for their own sight, so they can know all matters.
The first ten years there´s often the possibility that owners of this run against something they couldn´t see and thought it were something different. they are also able to "see" very tiny things like a fracture in a rock or wires along the path. The better the nin gets, the better gets his sight. At the age of 12 the users are already able to see about 100 meters, also through bodies and a wall. But also the sight of them can get distracted by metal bodies. Then this gets better and better, at the age of 18, all have learned every response and know nearly all matters. Also, they can see through three thick walls, but their sight gets slurry and they can only see what is inside no details.
This brings but also some weaknesses with it, like not being able to see any colors. The pulses given from the body can also be manipulated to collect themselves at one point or taken any form the user wants to. This electric body also has the advantage, that if hit by something made of metal, the one who stroke with it, will get shocked by the lightning particles inside the body of the user.
Everyday life:The clan was reestablished a few years ago and since then, they began to train the young ones gain, that hadn´t been able to learn, how to "see". That´s most of days work, the rest of the time, they train new ninja and work as normal people. To gain the trust and their old lifestyles back, slowly also reestablishing the clan´s traditions. Even now, after five years and many new members, as it seems that the illness has become stronger again, they are the same, training the young ones and establishing themselve in Kumogakure.
