GENERAL RULES
In which I shall explain the general concept of what we expect from you, as a member, here at Naruto Daisen.
________
Respect.
Plain and simple. Respect for the site, respect for the staff members, respect for the rules, and respect for your fellow members. It’s a very basic thing, guided by common sense. It’s simple to use, and easy to find. Just listen to that wise, little voice in the back of your head – and you should get along just great with everyone here. Of course, just remember that disrespect shall not be tolerated in the slightest of forms on this forum. However small it may be, it is simply not acceptable.
Always respect,
- a person’s gender.
- a person’s sexuality.
- a person’s beliefs.
- a person’s religion.
- a person’s race.
I never want to hear of someone being discriminated on this site, for any reason. Be it that they’re female or male; straight or gay; non-religious or religious; Catholic or Christian; black or white. Nothing of the sort, clear?
Out of Character fighting?
Never do I want to hear about fights breaking out between members, when you’re out of character. If you have a conflict with a member, do not make it public. That means; no fighting in the xat-box, no fighting in the out of character boards, no fighting on the forum whatsoever. If you have a problem with someone, take it up with them privately. Either over an instant messenger, though private messages, email even. Just don’t do it on the site, publicly. It’s uninviting, silly and it’ll just aggravate others. Also, if you’re asked to stop doing something by either another member or a staff member (especially a staff member) then listen to them, and stop. Don’t argue.
Swearing?
It’s tolerated. But we don’t want to be hearing ‘fuck’ every few words. It’s not very becoming of you, and it’s actually rather immature. It’s allowed in role play, of course. But in moderation. Also, please refrain from swearing in a hostile or threatening manner towards your fellow members, and staff. That type of behavior shall definitely not be tolerated.
Other then that? Let your common sense guide you. If you lack that, then I’m more then happy to lecture it into you.
