a waiting journey

Itake woke up early to get on a head and save time. "i really dont feel like goin back to the village and im pretty sure mizume can handle it" he thought and sat at the docks waiting for some thing interesting or and idea to hit him. he gets bored and lays down on the dock.

The air was cool as the droplets spewed up from the waters, drizzling on Scar and leaving a hazy mist in the air. The water droplets tickled Scar's bare skin on her cheeks and as the wind blew, it cooled her heated body, flustered with frustration and anger. Tired of old thoughts and re-occurring dreams, she took slow but deep breaths. Her sleep deprived nights due to anxiety attacks and nervous breakdowns further cut into her mind as she attempted to rid herself of feeling and thought. All that's left here is revenge. Taking yet another deep breath, she started to move her feet. Right, left, right, left. Same old pattern, nothing to change. Everything seems that way now, doesn't it. Looking into the graying sky, she began tapping her fingers on her right thigh. What is there to do on such a day, anyways? I want to go home but the ship doesn't dock for another few hours, she thought as she glanced down at her watch. Looking up, she watched as the men docking the ships yelled at each other as they caught ropes and lifted their hands above their eyes to protect them from the splashing waters. As she watched the men, she was completely oblivious to her surroundings, and was surprised as the tip of her right foot hit something soft. Trying to stop short of walking, with one foot in the air, she fell over, catching herself with her hands. "What the hell?" she said as she sat in the position on her hands and knees in shock. Moving her head to look between her arms and beneath her, she saw a man just lying there. Sighing, she placed her feet on the ground, and pushing off with them, she swung them over her head and flipped herself back up to standing position. "Hey, Kid. Perhaps you shouldn't just lay there on the dock," she said with a smirk and the rolling of her eyes. "You, or someone like me, is going to get hurt." She brushed the dirt off her hands on her pants and bending down slightly, she reached her hand out towards the man. "Come on."

in a small state of pain and shock of the girl tripping over him itake layed there wide eyed till she got backup "yeah your right but its fun and relaxing to listen to the waves look up at the sky and just let it all go, just fall asleep, you know" he said as she helped him up with this relaxing smirk on his face "Thank you though". realizing that this girl had a lot of power he asked "you must be a shinobi am i right " he said in a questionative voice. now just noticing the mist and the chill in the air he could tell it would rain. "if your a shinobi do you want to come have some fun with me im running away in a sence, being in the office all day is boring." starting to get over that little nap time groggyness he was starting to feel that energy and almost like a surge of chakra.

Helping the man up, she listened to him thinking how it must have been soothing to just sit there and listen. Only, now-a-days, if you did so you were considered awkward or strange. Almost as if it wasn't normal to just take some time to yourself and did what you wanted. You always have to do what's socially acceptable. "you must be a shinobi am i right? " she heard him ask. Looking him up and down, she was not quick to respond. too entranced in figuring him out as much as she could before asking him questions, she smirked at him. Glancing down at her watch again, she was feeling eager to get home once more, but barely ten minutes had passed since her last glance. Her insides felt like they were twisting and turning impatiently as they too yearned to get back home for a reason she was not quite sure about. "If your a shinobi do you want to come have some fun with me I'm running away in a sense, being in the office all day is boring." Looking up at him again, she flicked the dagger strapped around her left thigh. "Yes, I'm a shinobi. And I figure since I have nothing else to do for now, and you want to get away from your work, we could do something." Taking the dagger out of its sheath, she threw it into the air. Looking up, she caught it in her mouth and winked at him. Taking it into her left hand, she asked the man, "What is your name anyways? I'm Scar. Scar Natsumi of the Mist Village." She was not one to shake hands, so to avoid such a situation from happening, she took another dagger into her other hand and started spinning them with the sift movement of her fingers.

Happy to have some one to travel with he realized traveling with ninja can have its dangers, having been one himself. he intruduced himself "well hello there miss scar my name is Itake Mitoro, for now, untill i have to return to my village, then ill tell u where im from." he said with humorous voice. "lets make this little secret the point of this fun journey. i like having fun and i like to have a reason to do something, now from the way you keep checking your watch you must have some where to be or something. " as he looked at the daggers he thought of how skilled she must be and accidentally said "this is gonna be fun" out loud. not realizing this it just kept standing there.

"Tell me at a later time, huh?" Scar said at the man as he refused to say who he really was. Smiling a bit, she enjoyed the game. "I was always one for guessing games. We'll see what I can figure out from you until then." Continuing to spin the daggers in her hands, she flipped the one in her left hand in the air with the flick of her wrist and caught it again by its handle and continued spinning it. "This is gonna be fun" Scar heard him say. Staring the man in the eyes, she thought, Is he looking for a fight from me? Unsure of what exactly this man wanted, she glanced back at her sword, Shinigami, on her back. Well, whatever he wants, I at least have Shinigami with me. Sheathing her daggers again, she leaned back on her right leg and popped her right hip out. Placing her hand on it, she responded, "You're right. This should be fun. Well, Mr. Secrets and Adventure, you wanted this, you get to choose where to and what we do."

with excitment itake couldnt help but yell out WOOT! ok first stop is to my hotel room as i need to retreive my fans then well take a ship and sail to another continent if you dont mind he said in a happy calm but yet caring voice. just now noticing the sword on her back he connected being from the mist and th sword to being from the 7ssm and realized he must be a little more cautious. as he pointed the way he began to walk and head for the hotel. not realizing he said i cant wait to get to that place on the southern continent, itake just kept walking.

"WOOT!" Scar heard him say. She flinched a bit at his happiness and let him continue. "Ok, first stop is to my hotel room as i need to retrieve my fans. Then we'll take a ship and sail to another continent if you don't mind." Sighing a bit, she replied, "No, not at all. Lead the way." She stared at the man as she watched his eyes move to the weapon on her back, and then back to her. Turning around, he began walking towards the hotel. "I can't wait to get to that place on the Southern Continent." Clicking her tongue, she made no remark to the man's words. Clenching her hands a bit, she just began mentally preparing herself for whatever was to come. Taking a few long strides, she came up beside him. "I saw you looking at my sword," she said with a slight chuckle. "This here is Shinigami." Lifting her right hand above her head, she grabbed the handle of her sword. Quickly pulling it out of its sheath, she swung it back over and in front of her. Spinning it around a bit, she stared at the skull on it. "He's my baby. Not one to mess with either." Swinging the flat side of it towards Itake, she tapped it on his stomach. Smirking, she sheathed it once more and continued walking.

while walking and listening to her about this sword shinigami and looking at it against his stomach he wondered if taking her with would be such a good idea but shook the thought off. as he arrived at the hotel with scar he said well were here with relief in his voice as they reached what seemed to be a run down broken apartment complex. the hotel was creaky places leaked and some places smelt like a mixture of dead rotting carcases and wet dog. then itake walked to a room in a warm part of the hotelhe opened it and it look amazingly clean as itake doesnt like big messes. while going back to back room he stopped in a small hall with a door. as he opened the door he pylled out 3 fans almost bigger than him. he went to the back room and attached the fans and walked out. hurriedly he grabbed her wrist and saidhurry we gotta boat to catch he quickly locked the door ran to the counter to check out and turn in the keys and ran to the docks. a large cruise ship was at the end of the dock and was ready to det sail and itake booked it toward that boat like a bat out of hell. he jumped and grabbed the anchor chain as they were pulling it up and threw out his hand to scar and said come on they gonna leave with out you lets go.

Scanning the area, Scar scowled at the surrounding area. Glancing to the side, she watched as a worried look came into view on Itake's face. I'm scaring him, she thought with a smile. Poor baby. She took a deep breath in and held the stench in her lungs. "Well isn't this place beautiful?" Reaching his room, she stood outside as he opened the door. When he swung it open she could not help but burst out into laughter. The place was so clean, it even smelled good. "A little obsessive compulsive, are we?" she said as she quit laughing. "OCD cleaner I see. Well, well. You sure do waste your time, but it must be good when you are filling out papers. You see? I'm getting closer to who you are." As he came back out, he grabbed her wrist and she jolted at the warm touch of his skin against her's. She wasn't used to someone being willing to touch her since many people backed away. Giving him a skeptical look, he said, "Hurry. We got a boat to catch." Following behind him as he ran towards to the boat, she tapped her fingers to her thigh as he ran on ahead. As a large cruise ship came up to the docks, she watched him jump on as she took her time. She smiled at his worried look as she was still slightly behind. "Come on. They gonna leave without you. Lets go," he said as he stuck his hand out in her face. Moving her head back, she stared at it and with her pointer finger she pushed it away and jumped on the boat. "Alright, let the fun begin," she said as she walked to the front of the boat as it set sail and began to move. With the wind blowing through her hair, she shut her eyes and began to hum a bit. A shiver went down her spine as she felt the tender kiss of the wind brush against her cheek. Opening her mouth a bit, she began to sing a lullaby she heard once long ago. "Hush now my baby. Be still love, don't cry. Sleep like you're rocked by the stream. Sleep and remember my lullaby. And I'll be with you when you dream. Drift on a river that flows through my arms. Drift as I'm singing to you. I see you smiling so peaceful and calm. Holding you I'm smiling too." She let the wind carry off her words.

jumping up onto the boat itake heard scar singing. he could hear every word. as he stood there she began to sing a lullaby she heard once long ago. "Hush now my baby. Be still love, don't cry. Sleep like you're rocked by the stream. Sleep and remember my lullaby. And I'll be with you when you dream. Drift on a river that flows through my arms. Drift as I'm singing to you. I see you smiling so peaceful and calm. Holding you I'm smiling too." he sat and listened and thought about his village. the lullaby made him wonder if it was ok with him gone. he knew his adventure would be fun but he couldnt help think of his village. I must be strong he accidentally said out loud. not realizing it walked away to a stair well. he walked down about 2 flights of steps to hallway that was warm inviting and had fancy lighting down the hall. itake pulled out a purple key and walked in. the room seemed like a mansion all the fancy and riches there. itake went to a queen sized bed with blue lace and a white bed curtain. there he layed and thought. he thought untill he fell asleep.
