Hinagi finally arrived in the forest and immediately commenced his training. The first thing he did was release a small amount of chakra from his tenketsu to create needles at the ends of his fingers. He leaped into the air and immediately began slicing at branches. A shower of leaves cascaded on him and Hinagi decided to try and use his father's special technique the Hakkeshou Kaiten (Hakke-Palm: Divine Whirl). He spun furiously and attempted to expel the chakra from his tenketsu but he could not create a huge sphere like his father could. Rather a few wisps of chakra revolved around him and instead of creating a crater in the ground he left a few thin scars. He slammed his fists into the ground out of frustration but decided not to let that interfere with his training. Hinagi then threw all of his shurikens and kunai in random directions and closed his eyes so that he could not see where they landed.
Hinagi concentrated his chakra and released his Byakugan. He struggled to find the small kunai and shuriken amidst the thick foliage. He scavenged all over the forest attempting to find his kunai. He was able to find the first kunai rather easily because it was jutting out of a rock formation not too far behind him. Within 5 minutes of searching he was able to find a shuriken embedded in one of the branches of a great oak tree. He found another kunai within 2 minutes of finding the last shuriken stuck in the ground. As time passed Hinagi realized one of the weaknesses of his Byakugan. Objects with similar temperatures as the area around them become more difficult to locate. He was able to find the first few kunais and shurikens because they were heated by his body heat and the chakra radiating from his body. Now that they've cooled down they've become more similar to the temperature of the forest.
Hinagi remembered his father telling him that the Byakugan is also able to "zoom in" on any particular object within their line of sight with alarming precision. Hinagi began catching faint glimmers of kunai and shurikens as they reflected the light of the sun and was able to find them amidst the dense foliage. As the sun was beginning to set Hinagi had all but one of the kunais but he knew he had no chance to find it at this point in the night. He resolved to find it by noontime tomorrow hoping that the kunai would retain some of the sun's heat to help him locate it better. Hinagi began to head home and didn't notice his father nodding his head in approval and disappearing

While Hinagi was walking to the forest to train all he could think about was how his father hid his kunai. He thought to himself, knowing my father he probably he hid it in the most hard to reach place out there. He began his training by releasing some chakra from his tenketsu to create Harichakura. He cut off a bunch of leaves with his kunai and gathered them all together. Hinagi decided to train his reflexes this time so he threw all of the leaves into the air and resolved to not allow one leaf to touch him. Hinagi weaved and bobbed furiously slashing in a vicious frenzy with his Harichakura. As the leaves fell he thought to himself how much easier this would have been with his father's special technique but Hinagi knew he was not powerful enough to utilize it just yet. As all of the leaves fell to the ground he was surrounded by a circle of leaves and he thought not one leaf had touched him until a single leaf slid off of the back of his neck, more specifically his first thoraic vertebrae. Hinagi picked up the leaf and crushed it in his anger and wondered aloud how he could possibly account for his blind spot.
Hinagi got up and moved to a different tree because the other one didn't have too many leaves left. As he gathered up all the leaves and threw them in the air again he noticed something glinting near the edge of his sight. He concentrated on that one single gleaming point in order to discern what it was in order to get a better look hoping that it may be his lost kunai. As he moved closer he could no longer catch the glimmer but he thought that he had a general idea of where the kunai was. He looked and searched but to no avail, he simply could not find where his father hid his last kunai. Hinagi was beginning to become increasingly frustrated because he would much rather be taking his training into his own hands rather than be influenced by his father. He slammed his fists into the tree hoping to dislodge the kunai wherever it was but unknown to him he was able to tap into the a small amount of fire chakra. It sent a small and barely noticeable heat wave throughout the tree. Hinagi's father jumped up from the tree he was hiding in thinking that his son may have started tapping into his fire chakra. But to his disappointment it was only a momentary display of fire chakra.
To Hinagi's Byakugan the kunai stood out bright as day due to the unknown heat it now began radiating. As quickly as the kunai jumped out into his sight it disappeared because the heat was dissipating quickly. But now Hinagi knew where it was and retrieved it only to find a note addressing him from his father which read:
Good job finding this son. It sure did take you long enough huh? -Father
Hinagi turned around and smiled directly at his father revealing that he knew exactly where his father was the entire time. He silently thanked his father for heating the kunai up without realizing that it was all his own doing.

Hinagi walked into the forest with his dads words ringing in his ears. He had to find a way to manipulate his tenketsu and subsequently his chakra. Hinagi wondered what could be done to allow his chakra to flow freely. There was no way he could think of to force chakra out of any tenketsu. Hinagi envisioned his Harichakura and formed some from his fingers. He now tried to create harichakura from some of the tenketsu running up his arm. Slowly but surely tenketsu started releasing chakra from his right arm and he could feel the chakra radiating. Though he realized that barely half are actually releasing chakra. He began attempting to release chakra from the tenketsu in his left arm. He faired no better than with his right arm but he was able to release some chakra. He could feel more and more chakra being released and they slowly started building up on his body. He was excited as the tenketsu began being released along his neck and hoped that he would be able to release chakra along the blind spot in the back of his neck.
He felt the chakra build up along his thoraic vertebrae but he wasn't able to release it. I still don't have that much chakra control yet Hinagi thought to himself. I was barely able to get my upper body to release chakra and I'm not even gonna try to release any from my legs or anything. He turned to his father who was hiding in the trees and said, "I know you're there old man so why don't you come down here and show me what the trick is. If you're gonna sit there and watch you may as well help out." His father made no response so Hinagi tried another approach and said, "Why don't you help me out with this fire chakra then? It'll probably be of some use if I'm looking for something." Hinagi heard some rustling in the trees and he knew his father was going to run away now and he screamed, "You expect me to master this without any help! I haven't done anything fire related even once and you're just gonna run away when I ask for help!?"
Hinagi sighed and shook his head and scattered his weapons again. As Hinagi activated his Byakugan he immediately realized things were a bit clearer and more focused and that his range was a bit larger than it was before. At least this training wasn't for nothing, Hinagi thought to himself. He realized that while it wasn't easy, finding the weapons were not quite as difficult as he thought it would be. He was able to find all of the kunai and 9 of the shurikens within the first hour or so of searching. The last of the shurikens took considerably longer than the others because they were no longer radiating any heat so he now had to rely on Byakugan's X-ray and telescopic aspects rather than just its thermo graphic. He finally found it stuck in the knot of a nearby tree and he remarked to himself that his weapons needed sharpening. "Now for a real challenge," he said aloud. He took his lucky coin out and threw it as far as he could north. He didn't realize that there was a lake that way until he heard a light splash and saw the ripples of water as the coin landed in the lake.
This one's not gonna be easy, Hinagi thought to himself as he ran towards the lake. He dove in and activated the Byakugan but he had no way of keeping his eyes open due to the water. Hinagi concentrated and knew there was only one way to be able to see underwater. He concentrated his chakra and tried to release them from the tenketsu located near his eyes in an attempt to ward off the water but he was not able to maintain a steady amount of chakra. After repeatedly trying Hinagi realized that tenketsu are points where chakra is ready to be released and did not need any further prodding. Rather than forcing himself to pop the seal on his tenketsu all he had to do was relax and move whatever it was that was blocking his chakra release.
Hinagi had finally released the tenketsu located on his face but he was also gasping for breath so he had to return to the surface to get some more air. Hinagi realized that this was going to be much harder than he first imagined due to the time constraints on being underwater. As he swam and looked for his coin he also noticed that the lake wasn't entirely still and there were a few currents here or there that could carry his coin every which way. So not only do I have to locate the coin in one round, but I have to reach it too before it gets moved again. Hinagi continued to search for his coin but by the time he was able to get a bead on its location he'd have to come up for air. He was also beginning to grow increasingly tired from the constant release of chakra near his eyes and his actual activation of the Byakugan so he wasn't even able to search for coin as well.
After nearly half an hour of constant chakra release Hinagi was already beginning to reach his limits and he was nowhere closer to retrieving his coin. He dived in again but this time he was able to locate the coin rather quickly, within the first 15 seconds or so. He knew he only had about a minute or two of underwater time left and the coin was constantly moving out of his reach. Hinagi struggled against the lake's current and he was finally able to grasp his coin. This cost him a lot of energy because he was now near the bottom of the lake with barely any energy and almost no time left. Hinagi decided to perform a desperate maneuver and gathered up all of the chakra he had at the tenketsu near the bottom of his feet. He found it was more difficult to gather chakra there than it was any place else. He then released all of the chakra from his feet in one gigantic burst and propelled himself towards the surface.
Hinagi was able to break the surface of the water just as it was beginning to get dark. Then another realization dawned on Hinagi, there wasn't going to be any way for him to make it home and he could potentially fall deathly sick due to his being drenched and being out in the cold for so long. The implications of his actions dawned on him and he realized that his life could end due to one stupid decision. Hinagi began calling out for his father even though he knew his father was long gone and he couldn't locate him with his Byakugan. "I was born with this fire chakra for a reason, so it damn well better do something," Hinagi screamed. After screaming Hinagi's vision began to get blurry and he could no longer keep his Byakugan activated. Now all of his resovle and will was focused on one thing: drawing out some kind of fire chakra to hopefully keep him alive.
Hinagi struggled to the edge of the forest all the while seeking a way for him to activate some fire chakra. Hinagi felt a strange warming sensation in his body but he could no longer keep himself conscious and collapsed. Hinagi's father arrived moments later to find Hinagi's clothes steaming and the water evaporating. He touched his son's face to find that it was extremely warm. Hinagi's father smiled and said to his son, "Looks like you didn't need any help after all," as he picked him up and transported him to Konoha's medical center

Hinagi walked into the training area mannequin in hand. He remembered the first time his dad showed him the mannequin and what should be done with it. He could still hear his father's words clearly in his mind as he began setting up the mannequin.
"Listen here son, this mannequin is filled with a special liquid which is highly reactive to chakra. This liquid is stored in small pockets of metal in 361 different points on this mannequin which mirror the tenketsu in our bodies. You use your Byakugan to locate these pockets of liquid and hit them with your Jyuuken and force some chakra into it. When you do they glow bright red for 10 seconds or so. If you can light up each and every single pocket of liquid up before the first glow fades, you will have achieved mastery of the Byakugan and the tenketsu of the human body." Last time I tried this I was able to light up 32 of those before the first one faded. All 361 isn't gonna be an easy thing to pull off and I sure as hell ain't ready for it now. Today I will break 40. Hinagi concentrated his chakra and released the Byakugan. He could now see the pockets of liquid clear as day. He extended only his index and middle fingers so that he could achieve maximum speed and precision with his strikes. Hinagi took out his lucky coin and flicked into the air, the moment the coin hit the ground he began striking the pockets of liquids in a frenzy. After 10 seconds were over Hinagi took a step back to retrieve his coin. Hmm, I was only able to light up 28. I missed 5 of the pockets that I attempted to hit. Only 84% accuracy? That's nowhere near good enough.
He picked up his coin again and flipped it into the air once again. Once it hit the ground he once again began striking wildly at the tenketsu. After the 10 seconds were over he went to look back at his work and was glad to note that he improved. Hmm, 30 for 35 eh? If I keep this up I should be able to crush that 40 mark soon. Hinagi kept training and training till nightfall where he was up to 38 out of 39. My hands are beginning to bruise and I think I'll start bleeding soon if I keep this up too much. I'll do what I can right now and then call it a day. There's always another day. As he was about to flick his coin he remembered something his dad told him about the tenketsu a long time ago.
"There are 8 points on each arm that if struck can completely arrest your arm's movement for a good 15 minutes or so. Along with that there are 24 points on the each side of your body that completely arrest the movement associated with that part of the body. This philosophy is what makes up the Rokujuu Yonshou (64 Strikes of Divinity). The point is not to hit each and every single point on one body part. The point is to spread out the attacks on the body to arrest it as a whole instead of just an individual piece."
With this in mind Hinagi attacked 8 specific points along the mannequin's right upper arm, forearm, and wrist and then did the same with the left. The arms are now done for. It's time to go after their torso. After that he ducked down and attacked half of the points that would completely arrest the movement on the left side of the body. I've done enough here and I only have like 3 seconds left. I'll just take out the tenketsu on the other side. Hinagi faced the right side of the mannequin and deftly sealed off 12 specific points which would create a watered down effect of the Rokujuu Yonshou. For a brief second all 40 pockets of liquid shone brightly as one before they began fading out individually. It took all day, but at least I did it.. Hinagi looked at his bruised and bloody fingers and thought to himself, Damn, I released so much chakra through these bad boys I can barely move them. It's time to go home and get some rest.
(You dont have to read all of this....im just bored xP)
