Triumph

[Sinda Kally]

Ito quickly entered the village. It was the middle of the day and the sun was out, beating down on him with his brutal rays. It was hot out and Ito was sweating pretty badly. It didn't help that he had a dead man on his shoulder; everyone stopped to stare at him. It was as if Ito was the criminal himself. Ito continued to the Hokage's office. He had a habit of bringing the bodies directly to the Hokage's room, not trusting other people with them. When he had gotten to the building, he climbed the stairs until he'd gotten to the door.

"Hokage-sama", he said as he knocked on the door in a very monotone voice,"It is Jinju Ito. I have returned from my mission now", he said, waiting for the hokage to allow him to enter.

The Hokage's room was quiet. Papers all over the desk,scrolls, and much more. The Hokage just got done speaking to one of the elite jounin of the village. Hokage heard something at the door. The Hokage was playing with his scrolls. The Hokage was a bit young but he was one of the greatest Hokage's ever seen.

"You may come in." The Hokage was wondering who it was. He sat down spinning in his chair.

Ito opened the large door and walked in. The Hokage sat across a table from him, spinning in his chair. Ito had met with the Hokage a few times before on missions such as these, where he had to retrieve a ninja who had stolen something. He gently placed the body of Kentan Coon down on the floor, then bowed to the Hokage. "Hokage-sama, I have just now returned from my mission, to retrieve Kentan for sentencing for theft from a village councilor. He is no longer alive, as you may see, from the fight that ensued his refusal to return peacefully. I have the stolen property", Ito said.

Ito stood straight again and walked to the desk. He removed a strap from his neck that held a large blade. Ito placed the large blade on the desk and stepped back to his original place. "I am afraid that I failed to bring him back alive, just like the other times. I have failed, Hokage-sama", Ito said, looking at the Hokage.

Hokage looked at young boy come in the room. "Hello there. Call me Hyoutomi. I kind of get upset when people call me Hokage-sama." The Hokage smiled and he continued to spin in his chair.

"I am afraid that I cannot comply with your wishes, my lord. I was raised and taught to always address you, no matter the age, as Hokage-sama", Ito said shortly. He looked out of a window at the village, "My lord. Sometimes I feel as though I am going to hard on my foes. Kentan here should be proof enough of it. The mission simply stated that I bring him back, but I brought him back dead. Though he be a thief, I still see him as my fellow villager and it pains me to kill him", he said. Ito felt quite strongly about his village. It was all he'd ever known in his life. Though he was, most of the time, found outside it more than inside, he had a certain love for this place that no other ninja could attain.

The Hokage stopped spinning in his chair. He looked at the window aswell. He put down his head. He raised it up and turned to look at Ito. He sighed then smiled. "Hey kid, don't but your self down. You are a shinobi of the leaf village. You needed to do what you needed to do. Am I yelling at you. If I had a problem I would've quickly addressed it to you by now. Keep on doing what you doing." The Hokage then ruffled around in Ito's hair. The Hokage got up, and went to this cabinet type thing. He opened it. He reached inside and he was looking for something. He began to shuffle around things in the cabinent. He was getting frustrated because he did not find what he need. Where is that darn thing? The Hokage sighed happily. He found what he was looking for. He pulled out a shuriken with the fire kanji sign on it. "My grandfather gave this to me and now it is yours. This allows the shuriken to go on fire without burning it. Only use this when you really need it." The Hokage smiled and handed the shuriken to Ito.

A smile crossed Ito's face, the sort of smile that usually only crossed his face when he was with his family. Ito gladly accepted the Kunai and bowed to the Hokage. "Many thanks, my lord. I shall keep it safe", he said, placing it in his pack. He didn't know how much the Hokage remembered about him, this one was fairly knew. There had been a different one that visited the academy a few times while he was there. Ito paused for a moment in silence, remembering back to his family, when he still had them. "Hokage-sama, I was wondering if I could get a mission now. I am the kind of person that is in constant need to be doing something", he lied. Ito pursued the missions so fervently because they were the only things that let him take his mind off of his past tragedies.

Ito stood, awaiting the Hokage's response.

[Nekura]

The Hokage smiled while handing it to him. "Your welcome." The hokage then began to think to himself. I know this kid has lots of potential. He will go far in this world. The Hokage smirked and listened to what Ito said. He looked on the joy on his face. "Hmm a mission right." The hokagewas thinking hardly on what he should give Ito. "Alright the mission is to retrieve the missing scrolls from the scroll shop. The person that stole this resides in the forest next to the giant river bank. Becareful, have fun." The Hokage began to walk towards his chair. He called his personal assisstant for a bowl a ramen. He began slurping and chewing the ramen. "You are now dismissed.." He slurped and continued to talk. "...young one." The Hokage finished his bowl of ramen. He began to spin in the chair wants more. He began to get dizzy and have a stomach ache.

Ito smiled, then smirked as the assistant brought in a bowl of ramen for the Hokage to eat. "Hokage-sama, I'll return shortly with him I'll try not to hurt him too badly", he said. Ito turned and walked to the door after bowing. Ito was walking quickly through the village until he reached the gate. He was going to start back where he'd found Kentan at, then work his way do the river to see if he could find anyone. Ito quickly vanished into the woods that surrounded the village.
