Young Life --- When he was born, Rem obtained a unique Kekkai Genkai that enabled him to control different kinds of lightning. Shortly after, his father died due to a suspicious freak accident nobody is willing to talk about. As a result of his broken home, Rem never learned how to be social and therefore spent most of his youth alone. He was constantly picked on and attacked by other kids, and the only place he could find solace was in a secret forest location. One day, his mother told him he would be enrolled in a ninja academy and has a chance to follow in his father’s footsteps. But attaining this opportunity was no easy task, as his mother soon fell ill and couldn’t get out of bed. Before she died, she told him the truth about their family and why they were treated so differently from everyone else. When fully mastered, his strength was rumored to equal a demon’s. In addition, one of his ancestor’s, essentially erased from the history books, was almost able to conquer a nations single handedly with this ability. Their village hasn’t forgiven them since, still holding a grudge whenever they attempt to take the path of the ninja. Rem secretly swore to avenge his family and become the strongest threat in history with his new acquired power. Though only a novice, he would train until that one day he’d be able to fully master his Kekkai Genkai.
Academy Life ---
Rem was accepted into the academy, but was treated pretty coldly. He wasn’t aware whether this method was used to strengthen individuals or more probably, only used towards him. He therefore tried staying invisible at the back of classrooms and only passed when he completed things perfectly. Although the teachers weren’t that strict to other students, Rem kept thinking to himself that this was only a phase. Soon he would graduate and become one step closer to completing his goal. Soon graduation exams were upon the class and Rem took precautions to complete each technique perfectly. Though he was a genius at jutsus, he practiced for weeks on end to ensure he wouldn’t be penalized. Finally when the exams came, he awaited his name to be called, but it never did. After the examinations were over, he politely went up to his instructor and asked him the reason as to why he couldn’t take the test. The instructor just laughed and ignored Rem stating, “You will never become a ninja, as long as I have anything to do with it.” Frustrated and annoyed, Rem walked out of the classroom and headed to someone of higher authority. Perhaps someone didn’t know precisely who he was and was going to give him a chance to get out of the academy. Luckily, Rem managed to find a newly hired instructor who didn’t know anything about him and told him about the situation. The instructor understood the situation and held a meeting to address this problem. Waiting patiently for the results, Rem was ecstatic to hear that he would get a chance to test out of the academy. The instructor argued that Rem’s grades were very high and showed no reason to halter his progress. Upon entering the examination room, Rem performed the techniques required perfectly, giving the instructors no choice but to pass him. Finally he was out and ready for the next stage. He would be assigned under an instructor and start living as a genin.

The user creates many yellow lightning balls above and below the user. If the balls miss, they continue to chase the opponent through the user’s dance. Aoi Odori (Blue Dance):

The user creates lots of black lightning balls around the opponent, which follow him upon creation through the dance. These are slower than the yellow lightning, but ten times more powerful. The user creates a bunch of red lightning balls that surround him. Whenever an opponent or attack gets too close, the balls move towards it in reaction. If the balls don’t explode and still survive, they return as a part of the user’s shield. If they are destroyed, another ball is created in its place.

Raikou Tama Odori (lightning sphere dance):

Element: lightning
The user creates a giant ball of lightning controlling where it goes. It could be used as an attack against a group of opponents through contract or explosion or as a marker for another attack. Wherever this ball travels, it leaves an electric marker in its trail seriously injuring anything that goes near or through it.
After effects: This takes a lot of stamina and chakra. The user must wait five minutes in order to regain his strength and continue to fight.
Zetsudai Raikou Odori (Immense lightning dance):

A huge bolt of lightning strikes on the area around the markers left by the lightning sphere dance. If the markers form a closed shape, the entire area inside is hit by massive lightning as well. In addition, the lightning jumps from its original strike hitting everything near it.
After Effects: The enormous chakra and strength needed for this technique leaves the user immobile for 5 minutes. In addition, the user’s stamina is drained and he feels very sore all over his body.

Iikagen Odori (random dance):

Element: lightning/earth/water/fire/wind
The user creates a wide assortment of different colored lightning balls around the opponent. Each color acts exactly as it did in previous dances and all but the red ones follow the opponent. Also, another element is added to each colored ball such as fire to red, water to blue, earth to black, and wind to yellow. However, the user can now control when each ball explodes instead of wasting them all at once. In addition, by combining several balls together, larger explosions can occur.
After Effects: The user is completely open while focusing on this technique. The longer this technique is active, the more negative electricity runs through the users body. Eventually, he will have to stop or it will fry his body. After it is performed, he has to wait 10 minutes until he can move from being fatigued, unless he has suffered major injuries. Then he might not be able to move at all.

The user can supercharge his body with the different lightning forms enhancing his abilities greatly. His strength, speed, and defense become ten times what they are and electricity surges all around him hitting anything that comes near. This technique only lasts for a short period of time, after which the user suffers serious consequences.
After Effects: The longer the user is in this form, the more damage his body takes over time. If his body does take damage in the form of lightning burns, he must wait until it heals by itself or is healed by someone else. The healing takes about a day and he is highly vulnerable at this state and cannot move for the first 10 minutes he is inured.

The user creates a small hand sized doll of the opponent. Then, he may stick needles into the opponent and the effects differ depending on the time it takes the opponent to escape the jutsu. If successful, it first paralyzes the parts aimed at, but if the opponent cannot escape within five minutes they begin to decay. The cells in the body parts slowly die as they are no longer connected to the body and eventually the opponent loses the ability to use those parts.
After Effects: The opponent can dispel this genjutsu if his will and strength is stronger than the user’s. He can physically rip out of the genjutsu disabling even its paralyzing effects. If he fails to do so, another person must help him break free.

Weapons: The only weapon he uses is a staff with a protruding head connected by a chain. The head is a hook that has the ability to grapple onto objects such as rocks and pull them in any direction. It also possesses the ability to pull Rem towards the hook coming in handy when falling or in a tight situation. The staff is as long as Rem and he keeps it that way whenever his height changes. It’s also specially designed to withstand Rem’s lightning, so it could be enhanced.
